Hopefully people have gotten over the shock announcement at E3, regarding FFXIII, and here is some other news today that the story for the game has been completed.
Work is set to start on Japanese voice recording, then the localization process can start- which will be helped by the finished storyline.

Square Enix Executive, Shinji Hashimoto, has again stated that FF VERSUS XIII is a PS3 exclusive, in the wake of the surprising news from E3 2008, that FFXIII has gone multiplatform:
"We won't change policy," said Hashimoto. "Final Fantasy Versus XIII is still a PlayStation 3 exclusive."
Now im not sure if similar things were said when FFXIII was first announced, but at the moment Versus XIII is PS3 bound only.

Still recovering from the big announcement from Square Enix regarding FFXIII? Well, heres a brief diversion of a new trailer, shown at E3 2008, of The Last Remnant- they also revealed that the game will be coming to PC too.
The game is already coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3, the PC version will come after the console versions.

Whatever you think about the announcement of FFXIII going multiplatform, Square Enix released a brand new trailer for the game at E3 2008.
Square Enix have stated that the content for the versions of the game will be the same. Still no word on how many disks the game may come on, or maybe a mandatory install for the PS3 which seems the norm for games these days.

Two new games announced by Square Enix, with a mainstay of the Final Fantasy series - the Chocobo- being the main character.
Both games will be coming to the DS and following Chocobo on its adventures.
The first one, Cid and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Maze of Time DS+, follows the titular characters exploring dungeons, obtaining treasure and bashing monsters.

Images seem to be released weekly for this upcoming game from Square Enix, exclusively for the Xbox360 and being developed by Tri Ace.
The makers of the game are at pains to point out that the real world that the player will inhabit will be affected by the decisions you make.
According to Worthplaying, parties can be assembled from 18 characters- where choosing the right combination of characters could well be key to winning the varying episodic situational battles.
