Elvaan

These peaceful people live under the monarchy in the region of San D'Oria. They take tradition through pride and religion to heart basing everything they know and love. They pride themselves for being the keeper of the Knighthood and the home of the Paladins where "Only the strongest can survive".

Galka

The strong and proud Galka strive many years after the fall of their races homeland six hundred years ago. The Galka are a gender-less breed of Beastman that reproduces only through the act of reincarnation. Their strength often makes the Galka perfect for heavy activity in the city of Bastok where they now inhabit. You can see the lands littered with Galka as Miners, Blacksmiths, and Servants.


Preferred Starter Class(es): Warrior and Monk.

Hume

Founders of the Great Cities Bastok and Jeuno, the Hume are an extremely adaptable race. They are the exact form of every human. Strong willed, diplomatic, and explorers. Hume's are jacks-of-all-trades but master of none. They have great abilities in magic and fighting. This race strives as the middle man to all races of man, beast, and magical.



Preferred Starter Class(es): Red Mage, Thief, and Warrior.

Mithra

Cat-like and agile race, the Mithra are hunters by nature. This predominately female race often can be seen as thiefs taking complete advice of their fast hands. Mithra males are usually in control of the village needs and never ever venture outside of the village of Windurst. They share the village of Windurst with the Tarutaru, whom have a symbiosis maintaining the region.


Preferred Starter Class(es): Thief, White Mage and Monk.

Tarutaru

In tune with nature, Tarutaru make the best mages in any Final Fantasy game. These lowly creatures are a long race skilled in the useage of the crystals. Many years ago in the Crystal War of 863 C.E. the tarutaru were the determining in the victory against the Shadow Lord. Now this small in stature race is ruled by the warmhearted Star Sybil. Experienced gamers will enjoy the novelty of this race.
