Final Fantasy Agito XIII is an online RPG in development for mobile phones, and is being developed by the same team as Before Crisis and Crisis Core. The title, "Agito" is Latin for 'to put in motion'.

Players will be able to choose one of twelve characters. The characters are students at a the Periticium school of magic, and in the game, players will control the daily life of their character and interact with fellow students.

According to the developers, Final Fantasy Agito XIII will be much more open-ended than their first Final Fantasy game for mobile phone, Before Crisis, which had a mission-based format.

Battle System

Nothing is known about the battle system for Final Fantasy Agito XIII at this time. The game is, however, an online RPG, and is being developed by the same team that worked on Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis.

This young man was pictured in a Square Enix pamphlet from Tokyo Game Show 2006. His name has not yet been announced, however, he appears to be the boy with the deck of cards seen in the character artwork below.

All that is known about the characters at this time is the fact that they are all students at the Periticium school of magic. Based on concept art, it appears that they each have their own specialties when it comes to fighting.
