Despite her age, Quistis is already a teacher at Balamb Garden. Quistis was aged 10 when she entered Balamb Garden. She became a SEED at 15 and instructor at 17. Popular as she is, she even has a fan club in her name. The students admire her but other instructors think she is inexperienced. It is maybe this isolation and the pressure to live up to expectation that causes her to make errors. She often serves as a peacemaker between Squall and Seifer.
She uses a chain like Whip as her weapon, which can be upgraded with items. Her Limit Break is Blue Magic. She can inflict damage, protect the party etc with the various abilities she can learn. By acquiring certain items she can improve her roster of magic available to her.
