It has been announced today that Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon will be coming to the United States on July 8th exclusively for the Wii platform. As it is a Wii exclusive, expect it to fully make use of the intuitive Wii controls. Trademark job classes such as Knight and Black Mage will be available. The game will also make use of the Wii Wi-Fi connection in order to battle against friends. Concerning the story: The game follows the adventures of Cid and Chocobo in a mysterious town where people have their memories erased with each toll of a bell in a clock tower. A boy arrives named Raffaello, who builds dungeons to help recover the lost memories of the inhabitants of the town. Cid and Chocobo naturally explore the dungeons to aid the townsfolk. Some of the features are below courtesy of the website Nintendic: -A charming, vibrant game world coupled with an engaging storyline and challenging turn-based battles to create a fun and entertaining RPG environment -Character designer Toshiyuki Itahana, from the FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES(R) series and FINAL FANTASY FABLES: Chocobo Tales(R), lends his trademark art style -Collect hidden letters throughout the adventure and form special phrases to unlock secret dungeons and job classes A European release hasnt been confirmed yet Source: Nintendic Add to Digg |

I thought that was the Wiis gimmick though, and probably the reason the game is coming to that platform. | ||
