Square Enix have released their worldwide sales figures for the fiscal year, which ended on March 31st. Looking at the figures, and the picture, you can see how well their games did across the regions and it seems that remakes bear the brunt of the figures. The Dragon Quest V remake is the best seller, which came out on the DS, with Dissidia: Final Fantasy the second best- although an original property it contains a plethora of figures from many Final Fantasy installments. Crisis Core came third, with a notable mention for Chrono Trigger DS, which came fourth, showing its lasting appeal. Source: Joystiq Add to Digg |
