In a move that can only please Western gamers no end, Square Enix have voiced their feelings on how they plan to release their games- usually of course Americans usually have to wait longer after a game is released in Japan, Europeans even longer as the company translate the game among other things. However, news today from one of our affiliate sites, Forever Fantasy, that this is about to change. According to Nikkei, via FF7AC Reunion, Yoichi Wada has stated that: "We aim to make simultaneous releases a standard" This is going to be case with The Last Remnant, which will be the first game to have a simultaneous worldwide release from the company. Square Enix fans from around the world can only hope that this is the start of many similar type of releases to come Source: Forever Fantasy Add to Digg |

We'll see if they can manage to hold up. I'm interested in Last Remnant, but if it blows then I'm gonna be through with Squeenix. All hail Mistwalker.....

There may be a few people with sentiments like yourself Brian- probably fed up with all the spinoffs, rehashes and remakes that seem to be the norm at the moment.
