Square Enix Bringing PS1 Classics To The PS Store

Square Enix have announced they are bringing some of their PS1 games to the PS Store- the Japanese PS Store that is.
Those of you with the PS Store or Virtual Console may have been waiting and anticipating that Square Enix might offer some of their classic backlog of games- it looks like things have come a step further, for the Japanese anyway.
6 titles were available for download on June 25th, which were:

News from the Microsoft RPG Premiere in Japan informed gamers that the Xbox360 version of The Last Remnant will be released ahead of the PS3 one- no definitive date was given.

Square Enix Party 2008; Mobile Project Not Cancelled?

Square Enix certainly have been busy in the last few days, what with the Microsoft RPG Premiere and the announcement and press releases of their various games.
Today, they have revealed that their annual Square Enix Party will take place on August 2nd and 3rd. According to the website, Scrawlfx, the party will be known as DK Σ 3713, with three sessions a day and a lucky 400 people selected for each session.
