The action game, which will be coming to the PSP as part of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary, will feature many characters from different instalments in the legendary series participating in one on one battles.
A new scan has been released by Famitsu and various websites have pulled images from it, mainly showing Tidus and Jecht from Final Fantasy X.

Final Fantasy I and II (the 20th Anniversary editions) has finally been released for European and PAL region gamers
These new editions feature reworked graphics and art and all exclusive new dungeon among other things for the PSP platform.

The Anniversary Edition of FFI for the PSP is going to be sold at a Square Enix party at the San Francisco Metreon on June 26, 2007 at 6:00PM, according to the website Siliconera. At the event theyll be selling the said game plus giving a chance to try out Final Fantasy II before it is released on July 24th. As usual for these sort of events, the first 100 will be receiving as yet unannounced goodies exclusive to the party.

Final Fantasy Dissidia has been confirmed by Square Enix as a new game for the PSP. According to IGN it is part of the FF series' 20th anniversary (a series that also includes PSP remakes of the first two Final Fantasy games).
Theyve even opened an offical site for it on their home page which you can click on below. However not much can be seen there apart from the game's logo and a tag message:
"Fantasy is endless. Fantasy has no limited form."

Not long ago (less than three weeks ago, in fact) Square Enix announced that in honor of Final Fantasy's 20th aniversary, they would be releasing anniversary editions of Final Fantasy I and II for the PSP. |
